Habitual Abortion/MiscarriageFrom: ADL (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 25 Jul 2000 11:21:05 -0500 (CDT)
I recently miscarried my third pregnancy and I was about 6 weeks a long. My past two pregnancies also ended at the same time about two years ago. I haven't been successful at carrying pass 6 weeks. Each time there was only a sac and no fetus. I was tested positive for Lupus Anticoagulant and during the third pregnancy I started taking a low dose Apsirin with prednisone. It didn't work. I read a lot about Heparin and I think that might be the next step. How successful is this? Is there a possibility that something else could be wrong and not so much the LAC. Every other tests have been negative. Possibly Chromosonal? I am very frustrated and would like to hear other experiences that are similar. I am afraid to attempt my fourth pregnancy not knowing what the outcome will be. Thanks. ADL
