fetal movements at 36 weeks?? and due dates?From: Amy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun, 23 Jul 2000 14:37:10 -0500 (CDT)
Hello. some of you may know about my previous posts about my having antiE and then having an amniocentesis at 32 weeks. Well now I am at 36 weeks and I am wondering about how active my baby should be. I haven't counted the movements of the baby before now but I do know that it would move so much I almost fell off the couch once, for real:) Now for the last week or two it seems like the baby isn't moving so much in there and not as hard as before. What I want to know is does the fetal movement decreasing mean anything serious or is the baby just to cramped to move? My other concern is that I have more than one due date, my last ultrasound says my due date would be September 2nd and the dial says August 22nd. It wouldnt be a concern except that my doctor told me that she would only let me go one week after my due date and to her that is the 22nd. If she only waits a week before inducing that would put me at August 29th, if in fact my due date should be Sept.2nd would this harm my baby if she induced me in August? I have been loosing weight these past 4 weeks when I should be gaining and so I wonder if the baby would be to tiny at the August due date. My first child was only 6lbs 7oz but she was healthy and I dont want to want to hurt my next child unneccassarily. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
