2 day periods

I went off the bcp in May. I had a 31 day cycle with a 2 day light period. On the pill and before it, my periods were 4-6 days, starting out heavy and ending light. Next came a 25 day cycle, again with just 2 days of bleeding. I had taken a HPT one day before the first period and it was negative. I have not tested since because the period came even earlier than I expected. Is this just my body adjusting to post bcp or should I test again?
