UNEXPLAINED PREMATURE 32 WEEK BIRTHS ENDING IN DEATHFrom: jennifer (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 20 Jul 2000 16:12:10 -0500 (CDT)
In 1999 I had two births, one January 8th and the other December 7th. Both were born pre-term at 32 weeks and both died approximately one week after birth. The babies were boys the first child had physical abnormalities. The doctors thought he had Pena Shokier Syndrome, however the autopsy(after a year) concluded it was not. The following are some of the similarities each child had: increase amniotic fluid, decreased fetal tone, decreased fetal movement, and hypoplastic lungs. The second child had a cerebroventricular hemmorhage 3 or 4. We don't know what the cause is and we want to have more children. Also to note is that I had a child previous to my current marriage. Please, if you can help or know where we could go for assistance, reply.
