My oldest daughter is 11mons. old and I am now 10wks or so pregnant with #2. Both times it took two trials the first month was kind of a throw away. According to my fertility specialist it is rare to get the timing just right on the first month but it gives you an almost fool-proof idea of what the second month will bring. Clomid is basically a controlled ovulation, meaning that it makes ovulation occur according to when you take it. Usually, that's different than your normal cycle. As for me I don't ovulate without Clomid so I couldn't tell you if it would be the same as without it. Goodluck!!!
