First, you can not be sure that you are not leaking amniotic fluid, so I would recommend that you let your physician do that. Second, a urinary tract infection can also cause these symptoms, so it is important to get checked for that, especially in pregnancy. Third, if all of the above are not an issue, the cause for the urine loss is the changing geometry of your pelvis, particularly the angle of the tube coming out of your bladder. The uterus is causing the change in this area and it is quite common to experience the things you describe. However, you must assure that it is not amniotic fluid... Lynn
