Also, even if the antibody titers are high, that doesn't mean that the baby is being affected as badly. I myself have the anti-D antibody present (the kind you would normally prevent with Rhogam), and the last titer count was very high at 1:256. That was over 3 months ago, and I'm 35 weeks along now. I've been having amnios done every few weeks since week 24 to determine the effect that the sensitization may have on the baby. Even though my titers are high, the amniotic billirubin levels have decreased to the point that they are in the mid to low Zone 1. -Amanda
