I recently had an us to determine actual gestation age because I am 36 and we were discussing amnio. The doctor believed that I was 11 1/2 wks but could not hear a hb. During the us no fetal pole was detected but it was determined that I was 9 wks 5 dys. I am scheduled for another us in 2 weeks. Should I be worried that no fetal pole was seen on the us? The tech kept saying she could not see well and we might have to do a trans vag us? I am very worried. [I have no cramping or spotting and have gained 1 pound in the last month]
