Day 24 Progesterone = 11.7. Good or bad or OK?

I just had a serum progesterone test taken on day 24 of my cycle (about 9 dpo). The result was 11.7. The dr indicated that it showed I had a good ovulation. However, the nurse couldn't tell me if this was "good" or "bad" or what.

Details:

2 pregnancies (and miscarriages) ago, I started off with a progesterone level of 11.7 on day 24. The dr put me on prometrium pills to get the level up. It rose to about 17. The pg lasted 9 weeks, then ran out of steam.

This month, I may or may not be pg, as I'm only 10 or so days past ovulation. When I asked the nurse if 11.7 would be bad if I *was* in fact pregnant, she said that the two things "weren't related". Huh? I thought 11.7 was bad, which is why they put me on prometrium last time. Now, it doesn't seem to matter??

Can you shed light on what day 24 level should be (or the range) for progesterone? It seems that 11.7 is my magic number.

Thanks again!
