Clomid/ProgesteroneFrom: Milly (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 13 Jul 2000 07:40:02 -0500 (CDT)
During my first cycle of 50 mg.Clomid, my 7dpo progesterone level was 11.7. My MD now wants to increase the Clomid dosage to 100 mg. Everything I have read says that if you are indeed ovulating, increasing Clomid dosage will not help in ttc. Wouldn't increasing the dosage only create more follicles, not necessarily larger ones that would, therefore, secrete more progesterone, resulting in a higher reading? I don't want to increase the dosage UNLESS it will really help. Wouldn't progesterone supplementation be better? Thank you so much for your opinions.
