My first pregnancy was uneventful except for pih. Girl 7 lbs My second pregnancy started going bad after 12 weeks. a 12 week sono showed baby on target. As time went on, the baby fell further and further behind. She was born at 36w 3d, weighing only 2 lb. 10oz and measuring 14 1/2 in. She is now a year with no ill effects. The doctors don't know what happened and believe it unlikely to happen again. Anyone with info is appreciated. Our insurance has changed and we are thinking of another baby. Can anyone in the medical field tell me if I should see a perinatologist immediately or just find a new ob? Please e-mail me as well at higgin704@aol.com
