GBS - past and present

In my last pregnancy (2 years ago) I tested GBS positive. My labor was very fast and there was not time to receive the antibiotics.

Since I have not had any antibiotics in the past two years, can I assume that I am still a carrier/colonized?

I would prefer to pass on the GBS test now (I am 36 weeks) because I believe I am most likely still a carrier. It does not bother me if we treat based on risk factors *or* past + test.

Does this sound reasonable? I know the test is no big deal but I believe the results are worthless since I was + in the past.

Thoughts???

Thanks in advance!
