Also wanted to point out that it's not implausible for the AFP test to render false-positive results. This happens to quite a few women who, after undergoing a subsequent amnio, find out that everything is A-OK! Are you waiting for Amnio results on the 17th? Try and take it easy and don't do too much needless worrying until you get your other results back. The great U/S findings should ease your mind in the interim!
