mild cramping is common in early pregnancy

I certainly understand that, having been there, done that -- and I still am a worry wort, even though my duaghter has been out of hte womb for 19 months!

preg tests are postive as early as the first day of a missed period -- you may just be too early to see anything. You may have to wait a few more weeks to have an accurate ultraosund (and why was the ultraosund done anyway?)
