still bleedingFrom: Angela (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 7 Jul 2000 11:56:45 -0500 (CDT)
I am 6 1/2-7 weeks pregnant. I have been spotting for the past 9 days. 2 days ago the blood became red and a little heavier. I had an hcg of 1080 on 6/28 and an ultrasound with normal fetal heartbeat. Yesterday I went to the ER- my cervix was still closed, my hcg was 2080 and the fetal heartbeat was 105 which the doctor said was slow. Do these results seem like a miscarriage is inevitable? The bleeding tapers off when I am laying down, but worsens after I sleep in my water bed. Could the water bed be causing a problem? Also, what would a normal fetal heartbeat be at this point? Thanks!
