All is well....From: Amy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 6 Jul 2000 22:05:40 -0500 (CDT)
I mentioned before that I was scared about my up comming amniocentesis, well after comming here I wasn't so worried. Now that I had it done(yesterday) I feel silly for being so scared in the first place. It only took me 10 minutes and the fluid was clear and baby wasn't in the way, so it was good. Later in the day my gyn called me at home with the results of the test, and my baby is doing fine and my titre count for antiE is still at 1:4 just like one month ago. I am glad that my doctor is looking out for me and the baby so well. My gyn says we will have to do another amnio a month from now which would put me at 36 weeks, and at that time he will determine wether or not I should go to the city to have the baby. I live in a small town and my family doctor here thinks that if the baby is a little sick when it is born it may be better for me to be in the city where they have every technological advance that could help the baby. My gyn wife had the big E and also a little c and their children were born majorly jaundice but that was the only problem they had, I'm hoping that will be the case here, and since the baby is doing well now it is quite likely that there will be no problem. I am so relieved and wanted to share my joy with all of you!! :)
