Previous Ectopic Pregnancy and now ClomidFrom: Lisa (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 6 Jul 2000 05:07:20 -0500 (CDT)
At the end of 1998 I suffered an ectopic pregnancy which resulted in me losing a tube. I have had one previous pregnancy - my little boy is now 3.5 years old. I have had no problems conceiving in the past - my little boy took two months and as for the ectopic pregnancy, I could tell you what night I conceived! I have been trying to get pregnant now for 15th months but with no success. I have seen a Consultant who now suspects I am not ovulating (my cycle can run from 31 to 42 days) and the blood tests I have had done show low blood hormone levels. I have been prescribed Clomid which I am due to start on my next cycle - what I would like to know is, what is the success rate of a pregnancy taking Clomid where I only have one tube? Thanks
