Unable to tolerate GTT

From: Amy (anonymous@obgyn.net)

I have atypical hyperemisis and cannot take the GTT because of my inability to keep food down. What are the implications for the baby? My doctors don't seem to be worried because I eat so little, gestational diabetes is the last of their concerns. Is there any way to test for gestational diabetes without a GTT? Should I be worried?
