Will running prevent implantation?From: abaxter (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun, 2 Jul 2000 16:02:39 -0500 (CDT)
I just posted a few days ago about my early pregnancy coming to an end. Well, i'm ovulating again, right on time, and my husband and I had intercourse. Now, I'm contemplating running a 6 mile race on morning of 4th of July. I'm very much in shape and regularly run and swim. Would a hearty 6-mile run prevent the sperm and egg from attaching or whatever they do down there?? I know this is a silly question, but I might as well check before hitting the road on July 4. . . My instinct says that if it's meant to be, then a nice 6-mile run (in Hotlanta) won't affect anything. However, I've already had 2 pregnancies that didn't work out, so my paranoid side says that I should only be having sex and doing handstands for the next 3 days. Hmm. . . thanks for your input. . . .
