I had back surgery 2 years ago and would like to have another child. I had a spinal fusion at L-4 and L-5 with hardware. I do not have any pain and am feeling great. I am concerned with longterm effect as to what the pregnancy will have on my spine both during pregnancy and after. Would desparately like to have another child, but would like to avoid further back surgery. My first pregnancy went without a hitch and labor lasted 4 hours.
