Since you really need to go by the FIRST day of your menstrual cycle to calculate, it depends. Assuming your period began somewhere around the 22nd or so and depending on the length of your typical cycle, I'd say chances of conception are pretty moderate, since conception *can* occur as many as five days before ovulation (which is usually around mid-cycle, give or take a few days) providing the environment is right. Of course, it ALL depends on when you actually ovulate...everyone is different (and the old mid-cycle ovulation rule does NOT apply to all of us). These are simply averages. If a pregnancy is not something that would interest either of you at this time, you may want to think about using alternate methods of birth control. As you well know now, condoms are far from foolproof and it usually isn't worth the gamble. Good luck!
