Amy, you're most welcome. Don't stop there if these links don't answer
all of your questions. Do some searches on the 'net for more
information on amniocentesis and read about it until you feel you're
informed at a comfortable level. If you feel uncomfortable or feel as
though you're not allowed the opportunity to talk with your caregivers
at this time, you can take complete control over educating yourself in
the interim. By gaining at least a basic knowledge of the procedure
you're facing, you won't feel quite so overwhelmed with medical terms
and technical lingo when you do get the opportunity to sit down and
discuss all of it with your doctor.
