If they were 55 on Tuesday, and 78 on Wednesday, is that a good rise in the levels after just 24 hours? Probably, but I don't know because that hasn't been studied. I am also wondering, I see a lot of posts with levels much higher than 78 at 5 weeks. Is there much put into the level itself, or just the fact of whether or not they double? I would also like to know, Would a sonogram at 5 weeks show anything Not likely, especially not with an HCG of 78. If the level is 2000 and one does not see a sac within the uterus on transvaginal ultrasound, one considers ectopic strongly. , or is it dependent on the Hcg Levels? I am quite certain of my dates as I charted them faithfully this cycle. My LMP was on 5/25. If you are 78 and it is doubling in 48 hours, then you are probably about 6-7 days post implantation at the most or in other words 4 menstrual weeks. Thank you very much for you help. When would you recommend having another HCG? Since you have already had the ones you did, yes. In the absence of bleeding and abdominal pain, I probably would not have gottem those. RDB
Again, thank you. Lynn
