Dear Dr. Braun First of all thank you for your response to my initial question. Yes, I was referring to beta Hcg levels. Since they were 55 on Tuesday, and 78 on Wednesday, there is not a 48 hour time frame for comparison. I have read many of the posts, and I have seen levels much higher in women who are 5 weeks pregnant. I am certain of my dates, as I faithfully charted my bbt this cycle. Is there much emphasis put into the actual number at this stage, or just the fact that they double? Would an ultra sound show anything at 5 weeks 3 days, or do I have to wait for my numbers to be higher? Thank you so much for any help you can offer. One last thing, when would you recommend having another Hcg done? Thank you again. ~ Lynn
