If calories in is less than calories out by 3500 calories, there will be a weight loss of 1 pound. It can't go any other way. I recommend Weight Watchers if you can't afford a Medically managed VLCD program for weight loss.

You will need to stop Warfarin before 6 weeks of pregnancy and be switched to Heparin for the rest of the pregnancy. Warfarin can cause some problems (birth defects, brain hemorrhage) in the baby, but it is OK if stopped by 6 weeks. See a Maternal Fetal Medicine specialist before you get pregnant. Please don't get pregnant until after you are below 200 pounds. The chances of having another PE are high and the chances of surviving another one are not so high.

Of all women who weigh 250 pounds or greater at the time of delivery, close to 50% will require a cesarean.
