NO.

Also, what is usually in the cysts?

Cervical Mucous.

Sounds like False Labor to me.

my husband started checking me every night for dialation >(we're REAL sick of L&D triage).

Not a good idea.

He could feel a couple of the cysts >while checking me and accidentally popped one (I would imagine that most

Classical False Labor. It is horrible to experience, but there isn't much we can do and it doesn't cause a problem as long as we don't mess with Mother Nature.

I'm 39 weeks tomorrow, so >I know I've still got plenty of time, but it is a tad bit frustrating

Classical False Labor. NOT BH. Sir John Braxton-Hicks described "PAINLESS UTERINE CONTRACTIONS" in a 50 page paper in the Proceedings of the London Medical Society in 1648. He proposed these contractions as a pregnancy test. If there were contractions, it was a pregnancy. If no contractions, it was some other large mass within the abdomen.

so I keep hoping there is some actual explanation for why I'm >not progressing (I've had up to 8 hours of STRONG contractions since

Again False Labor.
