Hi, My wife had a D&C (due to miscarriage) in april. After that she bled a lot and had sever pains for 2-3 days. Since then she has been bleeding off and on. Now she is having her periods every 15days and they last 10+ days. Sometimes she passes clots and mucous, sometimes the blood is black sometimes red. Occassionally she has abdominal and lower back pain. Its almost 12 weeks since her d&c. Her doc is doing blood tests every 2-3 days and her hcg is hovering around 10-15. The doctor said it should have been zero now. She suspects that either something's left inside or her body is taking longer than usual to adjust or some rare condition in which growth occurs again (i forgot the name). She had an ultrasound done today. We'll come to know tommorow about her latest test results and appointment with doctor(again) on next wed. What should we expect???? Is it possible that something could be left inside? Does it mean that the doc is not good and Should we change her doctor if thats the case? worried.....
