Breastfeeding is the most likely cause for the non-return of your post-partum menstrual cycle. The hormone produced while breastfeeding called Prolactin (which results in milk let-down) can delay your cycle for quite some time, especially if you're breastfeeding exclusively. I experienced the same the thing with both of my kids, so it's likely nothing to worry about!
