timing of intercourse for conceptionFrom: amanda (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 26 Jun 2000 20:39:02 -0500 (CDT)
I am 30 yr. old with a 17 month old. I had a miscarriage 6 mos ago - testing showed extra 16 chromosone. We have been trying to conceive again with no success for 5 mos. I am concerned b/c my past two pregnancies happened the first month we tried. My cycles seem normal -28-29 days. Also I have concerns b/c I hemmoraged after the delivery of my child and had a D&C and then had a D&E after misscarriage - actually it was a missed abortion - I measured at 7 wks with no heartbeat and was supposed to be 11 weeks. Could my past problems - hemmoraging and missed abortion or procedures be affecting my chances for pregnancy? Also, this month I am trying Clear Plan Fertility Monitor. Do we need to have intercourse every day when monitor shows high and peak levels - or just some days for sperm to build up? If so, what days are best? Thank you for your comments.
