Anti-EFrom: Amy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 23 Jun 2000 14:34:58 -0500 (CDT)
I have read all of the comments made about anti-E and they don't answer my questions. My husband was also tested for this antibody once we learned that we had the BIG E, turns out he carries it. There was no problem with our first child and I wonder how this happened. I had a blood transfusion years ago but I don't see how that could be where this is comming from. Well now that I know that I have this antibody and the count of them in my blood is getting higher with every check up I don't know what to expect. My doctor says this child could be born anemic (sorry dont know how to spell it) and I don't know what that means except for sick in some way. I want to know how difficult will it be to care for this new child in the most extreme case. I also want to know if it I can nurse this child if my antibodies are trying to hurt this child, will it have any affect on the breast milk? Please help me find out some of these things. I only have 9 weeks left to go and I'm getting more worried everyday. Thanks a bunch.
