30 weeks pregnant and vaginal tissues are bulging outFrom: sms (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun, 18 Jun 2000 10:34:24 -0500 (CDT)
This is my second pregnancy. My midwife said that the bulging was not my cervix but that I had a rectal prolapse. From reading the other posts here I believe I have rectocele which is getting worse as the pregnancy progresses. My questions are: #1 Will this cause me problems during delivery of this baby (my first delivery was very fast (4 hour labor and 5 minutes of pushing)? And, #2 Is there anything that I can do to stop this from worsening while pregnant (bed rest, kegels, etc.) or will I need surgery after the pregnancy? Thank you for any information!
