My OB seems to be absolutely sure that everything is out of my uterus
with just a pelvic exam. But how can he know for sure?? I asked him if
he was going to do a sonogram and he said no. He just told me that my
uterus was small and no where near what it would be for 9 weeks and then
he pressed on my right side and said "is that tender" and I said yeah a
little and he said that it felt thick. He feels confident that I will
start my period in a week. When questioning the high number of my HCG
last Wed. and how I could have had a miscarriage between then and now
without bleeding etc.. he just told me I could have just had a
discharge and no blood and that would have been the miscarriage. Is
this true??
I know with a molar pregnancy, your uterus expands faster then normal,
correct? I did some research on the possibility of a molar pregnancy but
it doesn't seem to fit whats going on with me. Also what are the
chances that this could be a blighted ovum? My stomache seems to be
expanding as if I were pregnant. I told my OB this and he looked at me
funny and said that it could be stress from all this.. that stress can
make your stomache bloat up. I'm going to have a HCG done Monday and
should get the results Tuesday. When I went to the ER, I had a urinary
tract infection and they refused to give me anything for it. Now it has
gotten very bad. I urinated in a clear cup and saw TONS of huge pieces
of tissue like stuff floating around which I'm assuming is from the UTI.
I was finally given antibiotics yesterday. Yes, I have been through
absolute hell over this. I dont think I've even had time to stop and
think about what has happened because I'm too busy questioning it.
Certain things just dont add up and make sense to me. I've come to the
realization that I'm not pregnant, or at least to the point where its
viable. I'm just not getting the answers I want. Several people,
including my OB, told me to quit being so worried and I know they think
I ask too many questions but how can I not? I would have to be someone
that didn't care to not want to find out exactly whats going on.
Especially since I still have the possibility of an ectopic which should
have been ruled out at the ER but I don't know if I can trust them.
Sorry I'm just ranting.. I guess you can tell I'm very confused. >:/ I
appreciate the time you have taken to respond to my posts and answer my
questions. It is very much appreciated.
