Well, the ER says they did see something and told me I was pregnant in
the uterus.. I guess the radiologist who read my scans saw something.
If I did miscarry at almost 5 weeks then why at 7 weeks 4 days would my
HCG be almost 45,000? I mean, your HCG level at almost 5 weeks should
not be that high.. and well according to the hospital I was still
pregnant last Wednesday with an HCG level of 45,000 and so it seems that
between last Wednesday and yesterday, I miscarried WITHOUT bleeding. So
if I truly did miscarry on May 20th at about 4 weeks 6 days my HCG
wouldn't have been 45000 nor higher then that because thats too high.
And that would mean that my HCG levels are rising even after a
miscarriage OR I really did miscarry within the past week without
bleeding. Is that possible? I was told that I could have miscarried and
just had a strange discharge. The ER did a pelvic exam on me also at
almost 8 weeks... wouldnt he have made the remark that my uterus seems
small or maybe it wasn't small last Wed? One of the nurses told me
yesterday that since I'm 9 weeks that we can pretty much rule out an
ectopic because it would have burst by now.. and since the ER didn't
see anything in my tubes apparently and saw something in my uterus.. I
brought my ER records to my OB and they made copies and still said it is
very possible for me to have an HCG of 45000 last week and just have
miscarried within the week without bleeding and they are firmly sticking
to the fact that he says I miscarried. He said I should start my period
within a week and if I do not start it within 2 weeks to then be
concerned. Also said I don't need a D&C because he said he thinks
everything is out. Isn't 45000 HCG high for 7 weeks 4 days? How could I
have just miscarried within the week without any signs? I still have
cramping and such.. maybe I havn't fully miscarried?
