I am writing to get facts about pitocin. I am doing research on women who have had adverse reactions to it. Can you tell me how long a woman should be on the drip, or maybe how long is too long, and what the highest dosage is in drips? Is it true that after a certain amount of hours on pitocin that the uterus can be saturated with the pitocin and its effects deminish? Are there any regulations on the use of this medication? It seems women are being induced for convenience...but what about the side effects? I would appreciate any information. Thanks
