Josie, You should probably have your blood pressure checked. I get terrible headaches in early pregnancy (this is my 3rd pregnancy) and my OB said if they ever hang around like that, he wants to see me right away to check my blood pressure. It can't hurt to check, especially if it has shot up suddenly. If you are reluctant to "bother" your doctor (that's their job, by the way), go to the drug store and use their little blood pressure machine. It it is high, then you won't be bothering your doctor when you call. Good luck.
