You may recall I posted a letter to the Forum about a month ago concerned about the fact that my Doc was telling me that the baby was 3-4 weeks in measurements less than my due date. Again, for the third time in 6 weeks I've had another scan and the Doc is putting the birth forward a week every two weeks that I see him. I recall your response was that the later you have a scan the more inaccurate it can be but today he took the measurements of the head, femur and stomach twice and is still sure the baby is only 33 weeks when he's telling me that I'm 38 by dates. Am I 38 weeks? Do you count weeks from LMP or conception? Does it bear any fact that both me and my husband are only 5'5" tall? That my mother was only 5' tall? That I've smoked all the way through my pregnancy? Baby today is 2500 grams is this a good weight for a 33 or 38 week baby. The first day of my last period was the 11th September 1999. How many weeks am I? Please help - I feel that I'm never going to have this baby - originally the due date was around 18th June, now we've moved onto mid July. Could there be something wrong with the placenta?? Since last fortnight I've put on 2 lbs and the baby has gained 1/2 lb.
