I am 34yrs old, I have 3 boys and before I got pregnant with my last son. My menstrual was unusual. I had missed 2 months before I had a menstrual and I got pregnant with my last son. My son is now 5 years old, and I can't seem to have a normal menstrual. I have taken provera for a year. After I stopped taking provera my menstrual came 2 months and then it stopped again. I never had this problem until 1994. And now I'm desiring another child, the doctor put me on provera and clomid. The first time I have taken both was Feb. 2000, I followed the directions exactly and I'm not expecting. Went back to the Drs. and he put me on provera and clomid(May 2000) again. My questions are what are my chance in conceiving, and how long do the medication stay in the system to conceive. 2nd question is can you get pregnant without a period. I hope this doesn't sound too far fetch. But I'm curios. Also what are the side effects of using both medications together, will it cause birth defects. I hope you can ease my concern.
