Lori, This could be related to a variety of things. First, pregnancy is surely a consideration and should be ruled out. Second, it could just be related to some fibrocystic changes in the breast. This can cause tenderness in the breast and can be influenced by things such as diet (chocolate and caffiene) or variations in the hormones. Finally, there are other more serious things that can cause breast tenderness, most of the time limited to one breast being tender. If the soreness persists, I would have it checked out by your doc... Lynn
