Lisa, What you have is just early or latent phase labor. This could go on for days to weeks or you could deliver this evening. If the contractions come every 5-7 minutes, last one minute in duration and this continues for an hour, you should go in and be checked. You should also be checked if you have bleeding greater than a menstrual flow or if your break you bag of water... Lynn
