ultrasound @ 18.2 weeksFrom: AMK (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 30 May 2000 21:20:39 -0500 (CDT)
I had an U/S today and the tech said I was really too early to be coming in. She could barley make out the 4 chamber heart and my baby was so small and in such a position that the sex could not be determined at this time. I had an U/S at 6 weeks (to determine how far along) at 9weeks ( because of spotting) today and now they have scheduled another one in 2 weeks ( to get a better lookwhen the baby is larger). Question, is this many U/S's harmful to the baby? Everything she could see, and she didn't do all the routine measurements, came out normal. And is it unusual to do an U/S at this satge of pregnancy?
