Unless you have had previous pregnancy losses that were suggestive of insufficient luteal phase, I would never do a serum progesterone in the first place, and I do not have much confidence in replacement progesterone to be of very much benefit. However, it also has few detrimental side effects. The reality is that if you are going to miscarry, you are going to miscarry, and there is virtually nothing that anyone can do about it. Since you have no symptoms to suggest that anything is wrong, I don't see that you have any greater risk than anyone else.
