This drug is Category C, meaning that there is either insufficient information to give any indication, or that there is no specific information in humans, but animal testing raises some concern. Therefor Category C drugs should be used only when the benefits clearly outweigh the risks. In the case of headaches, there are likely to be other agents that can be used more safely.
