I have been on Rocephin IV (2 grams) for the last four days. I am taking Suprax 400 mg once per day and Clindamycin 300 mg four times per day. With all this I am still having pain, dark red bloody discharge that is starting to smell foul, along with clots the size of quarters.

I am nursing my 21 day old son and do not want anything to interfere with that. I am supposed to follow up with my MD today if I was not feeling better, but I am afraid of what he is going to recommend. I am not running a temp and my last WBC was 10,000.

What is the LEAST invasive route to take? My husband is wondering if this is life threatening.
