After 2 years, could I be pregnant?From: Alicia (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 19 May 2000 18:13:01 -0500 (CDT)
Dr. Shepard: Hello. I can't reach my RE because this all happened after 5, but I have e-mailed her. I don't feel like this is emergency enough to page her, but if someone here could give me some answers (good or bad), it would really help me get through the weekend. This past month I've been on Clomid, had an IUI and then took progesterone suppositories. (I'm still taking them.) Today is day 28 of the cycle. I just took a home pregnancy test and the result is positive. The line is faint, but it's there. Is there a big chance that this could be a false positive given the fact that I took the test two days before my RE suggested, and I may have held the test in my urine stream for longer than five seconds? Also, could the progesterone suppositories be creating a false positive? Thank you.
