While the manner of presentation in this response leaves much to be desired, the scientific facts are correct. With the exception of IVF pregnancy, It is very rare for any miscarriage to be caused by progesterone lack. Most miscarriages are caused by something going wrong in the formation of the sperm or the egg resulting in an extra chromosome or a missing chromosome. This makes the zygote created by the fertilization nonviable and a miscarriage results. RDB
