My question-how accurate are blood tests? Is it >possible that I am pg? I understand the medical aspects of this, but >just wondered what else this could be ???? I'm going crazy!! Explain AF please. I surmise that you are talking abou menstrual periods, but i don't understand AF. A blood pregnancy test turns positive the day after the zygote implants in the uterus( Implants around 6-8 days after ovulation.) So test turns positive about 7-9 days after ovulation. The only other way for neg. blood preg test and a pregnancy is if lab got blood samples mixed up. The blood preg. test is much more accurate than the ovulation predictor sticks. Anovulation is a cause for delayed menses. Luteinized Unruptured Follicle is another very rare one. Persistent Corpus Luteum Cyst (Halban's Syndrome) is another. RDB
