Ultrasound can be difficult to interpret, and I generally give percentage estimates myself, but I always leave a little wiggle room, even if I am totally convinced that the baby is one specific gender. However, if I say that I am 95% sure of one or the other, what I am really saying is that I am positive I am right. My experience has been that still pictures from the U/S are very difficult to interpret, even by professionals, much less lay persons.
