Pregnant?From: Jennifer (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 9 May 2000 15:01:14 -0500 (CDT)
I have a few questions.... I stopped taking Orto Tri-Cyclen in April. I finished the last pack normally, my period began on April 17th, and my period finished on April 21st. Two days after finishing my period I began having what felt like cramps, I felt bloated and nauseous, I had a slight stinging pain on my right side, and a backache. I felt that way for about a week. I felt ok for about five or six days after that, but on May 5th I began feeling "weird again". I get nauseous if I let myself get to hungry, I feel crampy and bloated, I have a headache that comes and goes, the slight stinging pain on my right side comes and goes, I feel full but hungry all of the time, and my nipples are incredibly sore. I have taken two pregnancy tests and they both came back negative - could I be pregnant and it be to early for the home tests to detect it? Is it possible to get pregnant that fast after stopping the pill? I also take 20mg of Celexa, a Claritin-D 24 hour tablet, a multi-vitamin, a vitamin C Tablet, and a calcium supplement on a daily basis. If I am pregnant, will these medications harms the baby? I have also been drinking on the weekends (not realizing that I might be pregnant), but I usually don't have any more than three or four drinks. What kind of damage could this cause? Sorry this was so long. Thank you for your time.
