questionFrom: Janel (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 5 May 2000 12:38:48 -0500 (CDT)
Hello my name is Janel and I was on birth control for about four years and about six months ago I stopped taking it. About 4 months ago my period has come later and later. I went from a 28 day cycle to a 32 day cycle to a 36 day cycle and now I am up to 40 days. I have never been this late. I've taken 7 pregnancy tests and they were all negative. I don't know what to do. I am only 22 and my mom's cycle didn't become irregular until she was in herr thirties. Could I still be pregnant and the tests are just wrong? I just don't know what to think. My OBG said to come in and give some blood and they will check it to see what's wrong. What do you suggest?
