Any advice, Please!From: Amy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 2 May 2000 13:20:37 -0500 (CDT)
My 1st two pregnancies were normal, the third one I had bleeding on and off throughout the 1st trimestor. Then the heartbeat stopped at 16 wks. The 4th one was normal. The fifth one the measurements wern't right at 5 mo. By u/s it appeared the baby quit growing at 13 wks and the heartbeat stopped. After my D&E the doctor told me their was old blood in the amniotic sac. I had blood work on me and before she left office she called me with the results. she said it all seemed to happen from a clot. She advised with my next pregnancy to take a baby aspirin a day and to take Heparin. But their wasn't any proof on my blood work to back up what she said. So my last pregnancy I didn't take nothing and I lost that baby to subchorrianic hemmorhage/clot and placental abruption in the 2nd trimestor. I just found out I'm pregnant again now. And I'm so scared. Is their anything that can be done? Should I at least be taking a baby aspirin a day?
